HARRISON, Texas — Harrison, Texas-based home office remodeling and furnishings company HomeDepot has been approved to open its first store in the Houston area.
The Houston-based company has been in the home decor business for a few years now, and is now aiming to take the business to the next level.
The Houston area is home to some of the largest home remodeling communities in the country, and HomeDepots headquarters will be located in the area of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
The company said it will also hire 20 new employees to help with the remodeling of more than 4,000 homes, and said it is planning to hire 15 to 20 more employees to assist in its business expansion.
HomeDepot plans to offer remodeling services for a wide variety of home remodels, from small home renovations to large-scale renovation.
The company has remodeled more than 2,500 homes since 2009, according to HomeDepott.
Home Depots website also says it plans to open a second location in the Dallas area.
Home Depot is already a leader in remodeling the homes of small businesses in the metro area.
Home Depot also has remodeling centers in California, Texas, Florida and North Carolina.
